so i have an impending snow day, which means anything i was intending to do tonight (i.e. edit photos, make slideshow for prospective client. eek!) i will do tomorrow. however....someone just mentioned 2am sledding. and i am tempted. but here's to having MUCH FUN:

hi :) i am *currently* working as a counselor in the pulaski county public schools for at-risk middle schoolers. i love my job. i am also a photographer. i shoot weddings, free-lance for the Roanoke Times and whatever else catches my eye . i love (LOVE!!) coffee, eating sushi, taking pictures, the ocean, jazz, Melbourne, Australia and walking around wide-eyed around New York. i also lived in australia for a year and a half. my other favorite places are christchurch, new zealand and santa barbara, CA. next possible destinations may include: costa rica, hawaii and south africa. My dream is to teach kids in disadvantaged communities around the world how to document the beauty in their lives through taking pictures. I'd like to compile a book of these photos, curate a gallery and use these profits to help the kids receive education as well as contribute to the needs in their community. How weird. I followed a link into this blog after I followed your image from a friends facebook into your facebook profile and the thing I kept thinking was "There's a woman who looks like she's going to get married and have a kid someday". I just never thought it would be with Jason Schwartzman. True story.
i'm curious...which friend on facebook?? such a small world.
