funny things...
i am really missing NYC right now so here are a few cheer-me-ups:
PACMANHATTAN:
think human pacman in the village.

MUDCoffee, which i love. i post a MUD photo soon. but here is a list of cool facts:

Instead of boring you with the same old coffee facts you'll find anywhere,
here are some of the lessons we have learned and questions we
ask ourselves as coffee students in the world's largest city.

1. If a person lives alone, often their coffee order is the first thing from their lips. Many people stutter before their first sip of coffee.

2. If a person lives with another person or lover, the first thing from
their lips is often their coffee order.

3. Would AA work without caffeine?

4. Would police stations work without caffeine?

5. Buying a cup of coffee for the next person in line causes an instant
wave of love throughout the line.

6. Buying a cup of coffee for the entire line is like God had
just descended and bought a cup of coffee for the
whole world.

7. Coffee lines are great places for phone number exchanges.

8. A coffee line is a great place to pop the question (answer negotiable after coffee).

9. If you're thinking about playing hooky, don't decide until after your
first cup of coffee - then quit.

10. Spiders spin their webs differently on caffeine than on other drugs. (check out the graphics below)

T3 (behind as usual)
1. Revlon Colorstay lip gloss
2. fresh guacamole
3. Words spoken to me at the revelatory meeting...the Lord has not forgotten
4. new understanding (shallow, but still understanding) about this season of my life. Though, i feel all too often bored, alone and uninspired, i don't have to be in "waiting mode," hoping for something new, better or exciting to happen. But every season has it's purpose. Maybe i've lost mine in disappointment, but the Lord promises that those who wait will mount up like eagles and they will run without growing weary. So, i am a little more motivated to discover how i am to mount up like an eagle and what it means to run. And even though it seems like i am waiting to see where i will end up a year from now, i will seek to live today, this week, this year on purpose with His purposes for my life.
