if i hadn't spent, umm...4 hours! trying to get my website up, i'd would have had some time to upload some pictures from the Walls Family Father's Day celebration. but just to whet your appetites, i documented a very heated game of horse-shoes. i dislike horse-shoes with a passion, so i gladly volunteered myself to document the action, while spending, oh a good 25 minutes on the phone with Citibank trying to fill out a business rewards credit card (mind you, i realized after the phonecall that i applied for the wrong card, oops). well now it's 3am (please, don't imagine Matchbox 20) and that means that i won't be getting up early tomorrow, just in time for my 10:30 appt with FPS to fill out some hiring paperwork. should be a good time. i love paperwork. WELL, please do check out my site (www.miriamwalls.com). it's not real different from a day ago, but i added a portfolio, thanks to carbonmade.com as well as a services page. Kim, i've GOT to watch you whip up the creative outlet site, i was SO frusterated with dreamweaver. it's either a poor interface or i've got a lot to learn about html. unfortunately, i'm way too prideful to hire someone to do it for me or not have one--i want to learn! okay, goodnight.

i would write, but i have a splitting headache. so, here are some images from the Mud Machine on-the-go coffee truck that usually parks at Astor Place in NYC. these images were obviously taken a few months ago. but, i hope that i will be making a trip up north to see Toad with van in august. maybe. i've been reading "Irrestible Revolution" by Shane Claiborne...it's about actually helping out the poor, not just being concerned in thought and not action. more on that later. promise. it's challenging my socks off.

6 miles today...unfortunately with breaks. dinner: beef stroganoff and guacamole salad. i may make more to eat before the night is over. i love the way i feel after a good run, but it often lends itself to being really LAZY, something i cannot afford to do. more later. cheers!
