i'm addicted and i love it

new holes in life result in more of a need for jesus and for friends. blogging is an outlet for sure. thank you world for reading me. i got a package in the mail from heather today--a new journal. i also bought a plant for myself and some new soap. i ate soy sausages at jeff greenough's house along with walnut whole wheat pancakes and real maple syrup (jeff, you're awesome!). i don't know how i felt about the soy sausages i am also going to get to see two fun out of town friends this weekend. i really should be going to bed because i have to work early. goodnight world.

i REALLY need to go to bed. but i wanted to participate in margaretfeinberg.blogspot.com 's "the 4 THEME BLOG-VIRUS." so here we go. four jobs i've had...barista, photographer, youth counselor, drive thru guru at taco bell in branson, missouri. four movies i can watch over and over again...save the last dance, crash (me too!), the wedding planner, you've got mail. four places i've lived...brooklyn, ny; blacksburg, va; baldwin, ny, melbourne, australia. four shows i like to watch...twenty-four (newest addiction) trading spaces, felicity, american idol. four foods i like...whole fruit coconut sorbet, spinach salad with avocado and mandarin oranges, salmon sushi, iced coconut latte with home-made whip cream from bad ass coffee shop in virginia beach (it was unforgettable!). four websites i visit daily...flickr.com/photos/miriamwalls; myspace.com, allrecipes.com, realsimple.com. four things i want to do before i die...learn how to snowboard like hannah teter (she's 19!!!); travel to many cool places (africa, turkey, chile, back to new zealand); start an arts program in africa, inspiring kids to capture the beauty of their Creator in a not-so-beautiful world around them; publish my photography in a book.

okay that's enough. goodnight.

so i'm back to blogging. i'm not sure why. maybe it's the DSL and wireless or being back in blacksburg, which can be lonely. anyways, i love this shot from pismo beach, ca. you could drive on the beach. do you know how happy i was!
